Soluna launches new AI cloud service in partnership with leading high-performance computing company

ALBANY, NY, May 8, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Soluna Holdings, Inc. (“Soluna” or the “Company”), (NASDAQ: SLNH), a developer of green data centers for Bitcoin mining and other intensive computing, today announced a collaboration with a leading GPU-Server from the global company, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and provider of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure as a service (the “Strategic Partner”).

Soluna Cloud, the company’s new subsidiary focused on sustainable and scalable AI cloud and hosting services, has signed an agreement to work with the strategic partner to provide an initial cluster of NVIDIA H100 GPUs. As part of the collaboration, Soluna will work with the strategic partner to provide powerful and energy-efficient supercomputers for large-scale AI projects.

Soluna Cloud will begin offering its services leveraging strategic partners’ renewable energy high-performance data centers. Its state-of-the-art facilities, known for their energy efficiency and sustainability, will support the environmental sustainability of Soluna Cloud’s operations. Solunas’ new Helix data centers will serve as a growth path for customers, addressing the growing demand for more sustainable data centers powered by renewable energy. Additionally, this collaboration extends the Soluna Clouds offering beyond bare metal infrastructure by making available Strategic Partners’ end-to-end software solutions for AI pipelines.
